The patent pending neXus now offers customers a solution to keep their MimioTeach® stylus pen charged without the need to connect the MimioTeach® to USB power.
Stylus Pen Charger:
- Charges the MimioTeach® stylus pen when the neXus is connected to the computer.
- Capable of charging the MimioTeach® stylus pen when connected to any micro USB 5v power source.
- Charges the MimioTeach® stylus pen as quickly as the MimioTeach bar.
- Lights up the pen while charging to notify the user that the pen is charging.
- Two powerful magnets hold the stylus pen in place ensuring a steady charge.
6 port Hi-Speed USB 2.0 hub:
- Allows the user to connect 6 additional USB devices with or without the stylus pen charging.
- Provides for oversized USB accessories with ultra-wide port spacing.
- High efficiency engineering means no external power source is required EVEN when powering the entire Mimio® Classroom Suite.*
High Capacity SD card reader:
- Capable of data transfer whether or not the Mimio¬Teach® stylus pen is charging..
- Gives an additional expansion port allowing users to read and write to virtually any standard SD/ MMC memory card.
- Supports next generation High Capacity SD/MMC cards up to 64GB
Optional X-Sync Software:
- Optional X-Sync Gallery synchronization software offers an easy, quick way for users to synchronize their MimioStudio® gallery, thereby putting an end to lost data and making the use of Desktop "Freezing" applications and Thin Clients a more painless user experience.
Magnetic Surface Attachment:
- Two high power neodymium magnets are located in the bottom of the neXus allowing it to be conveniently attached to any metal sur¬face, including desk frames and dry erase boards, freeing up desk space and clutter.
- The neXus can be placed vertically due to the two powerful magnets that hold the stylus pen in position for charging.
*Power consumption may vary depending on what devices are attached to the neXus. The maximum power supplied by a standard computer USB port should not exceed 500ma at 5v. Optional dual USB cable available separately for higher current requirements.
